| Who we are: | ||
| We're three friends who met some years
back when the Internet wasn't yet available to the average Joe in Central Alberta and the
"in thing" was dialing into BBSes (standalone computer bulletin board systems).
Back then, we would try and help each other optimize our base memory for DOS and
brainstorm ways to upgrade our systems on the cheap. Some years have passed we're a little more experienced at keeping our systems chugging along happily. Apparently others have noticed this as we've found that whenever one of our friends or acquaintances at work has a problem with one of their machines, we're usually among the first people they call. After spending a lot (and we mean A LOT) of time helping other people upgrade their machines, load software, etc., we figured maybe it was time we looked at going into business for ourselves. |
||
| What we do: | ||
| As an authorized Eagle PC dealer, we stand behind what we sell. If you're not happy with hardware or software that you've purchased from us we'll bend over backwards to put things right. And we feel that our service is exceptional. All new systems purchased from us come with a THREE YEAR parts and labour warranty. As well, you are entitled to six system tune-ups at no charge over a three year period. (We check your system for viruses, possible hardware problems and blow out the dust-bunnies with some compressed air). | ||
| What we won't do: | ||
|
||
| But I can get this system cheaper at <INSERT STORE NAME HERE>: | ||
| Maybe. You can get *a* system cheaper at
another store, perhaps, but is it the same system? Are they using a quality mainboard from
a reputable manufacturer or some company no one has ever heard of? What is the bus speed
of that mainboard, 66Mhz or 100Mhz? Is it using the newer faster SDRAM memory? Does the
system include a genuine Intel processor or a cheap knock off? Is the video card AGP or
simply PCI? Does it support 3D properly? Are you getting a quality PCI modem or a cheap
ISA modem? What kind of network card are they installing - is it a 10/100 or simply a 10?
Is the case that the system comes in well designed for ease of access or will it start
falling apart after the fourth or fifth time you've opened it? Is the power supply in the
case suitable for your applications? We'd love to say that we can meet or beat any price, but that isn't true. We really do build good systems and sometimes that does cost a little more. We feel that when our systems are matched against systems from other vendors with the SAME components that our prices are VERY competitive. And again, please remember that WE service what we sell - not everyone else can make that claim. Should you get a quote from another computer dealer for what sounds like the same system we are selling, don't be afraid to ask what components they are using in that system. And please don't hesitate to call us, we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have. Regards, Lloyd Hannett 4139 - 48th Avenue |
